Airship Virtual Matrix
Airship Virtual Matrix (AVM) software brings flexibility to the delivery of live and recorded video.
AVM provides command centers with high-availability access to network video for 24x7 local or remote monitoring applications. With AVM, operators can display any available camera on any system monitor within many custom video displays. AVM is easily integrated with other systems to automatically display video in response to user-defined event triggers. These triggers include external events from POS, video analytics, and other third-party systems.
Access and control
- Access and display video remotely
- Access and control multiple video displays from a single station
Features:
- Integration with other systems
- Delivery of both live and archived video
- Distribution to a digital video wall for command-and-control systems
Reliability
If part of the network, monitoring or recording equipment goes down, the rest of the system will continue to operate as normal. In fact, if one network path fails, AVM will automatically use an alternate. And AVM goes further — built-in redundant power supplies and network ports provide the redundancy needed for enterprise applications.
Scalability
A system with an analog matrix requires additional coaxial/fiber cabling wired to a single location, as well as hardware or even a new matrix if the original unit is full. With a Virtual Matrix, cameras, monitors, recorders or control positions can be added to any point on the network.
It’s scalable to an almost infinite degree — as scalable as the Internet.
