Freedom From Analog

Virtual Matrix Driver

Enhance or Replace Your Existing Video Matrix
If you've ever wanted more outputs from your Analog Video Matrix and couldn't do it because of price, then here's your solution. The Airship VMD Workstation is a simple solution to a long standing problem. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars for a single additional analog video output from your old Analog Video Matrix, the Airship Virtual Matrix Driver can provide up to 16 analog outputs, direct from the Airship DVR Servers.

Use your old analog video monitors:
Take an Airship OP Workstation and add up to 16 channels of dedicated H.264 Decoder processing, with up to 16 standard BNC analog outputs (including audio!) and there you have it - more video sources to fill up your Video Monitoring Wall.

Use newer VGA or DVI digital monitors:
Take an Airship OP Workstation and add up to 4 VGA/DVI outputs. Each of those outputs can display a quad of video, so you cna have up to 16 digital videos across 4 VGA/DVI monitors.

The right hardware for the job
VMD Series Workstations feature powerful video capabilities, including dedicated H.264 decoder cards and/or extra VGA/DVI outputs. The rest of the hardware is up to the task, too: a CD/DVD burner for getting evidence to those who need it, and core components like Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, DDR2 Dual-Channel RAM, and optional Seagate storage drives.

Share Live or Playback on your Video Wall
Since the video displayed by the Airship VMD is coming from an Airship DVR Server, you can share either Live or Playback video on your video wall. Simplify incident reviews with a team of people, using the same equipment you would use to monitor and manage your surveillance environment.

Sit back and manage
Manage thousands of cameras on hundreds of servers. Remotely configure and manage all aspects of the Airship DVR Server, including camera settings, recording schedules, and user permissions.

Plays well on your network
Airship DVR Server features like Dual Stream mean you can use the Airship DVR Client in environments without huge or complex IT networks. Then again, you can if you want to!
